About the Project

This portal contains a tool for navigating the subject field of apartment building management, operation and related services. It does not attempt to reduce reality to a single “objective” perspective. Instead, it shows that different perspectives arise from different motives, interests, obligations, risks and interpretive frameworks.

The core structure of the portal therefore works with multiple perspective trees and with relations between their parts. Its purpose is not only cataloguing, but also comparison, problematization and refinement of different views of the same subject matter.

The system may include:

• a curatorially prepared model of perspectives and relations,
• a market layer of providers and service offers,
• verification and other trust signals,
• user proposals, comments and discussion layers.

The portal is intended primarily as a tool for orientation, understanding of relations and more informed decision-making. The mere presence of an element in the model, in the graph or in the market layer does not automatically mean recommendation, guarantee of quality or guarantee of suitability for a specific situation.
